Students, pupils and teachers of Tampere Conservatoire and TAMK University of Applied Sciences School of Music give concerts and dance performances in Pyynikkisali. Also the high –level guests enrich the concert repertoire.
Opera and musicals
Operas and musicals are also part of the repertoire of Pyynikkisali. When the hall is staged in the requirements of opera or musical, there is involved the whole house with the help of professionals. Operas performed in Pyynikkisali are among others The Raise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny by Kurt Weill (2007) and Mozart’s classic Don Giovanni (2008). Both got very good reviews.
